Andrew Stewart has a wide range of knowledge in waste management.  Our staff experience includes technical management of a hazardous waste landfill, landfill gas quantification and extraction, development of the first closed landfill asset management plan in New Zealand and remediation of former landfills for Auckland city and Waitakere city.

Our services include closed landfill asset management, closed landfill consent management and compliance monitoring, landfill gas and leachate monitoring, closed landfill remediation and hazardous waste classification and management.

Projects undertaken include the following:

• Auckland City Council - Waikowhai Closed Landfill. Development of a resource consent variation application for leachate treatment.
• Auckland City Council - Morrin Road Closed Landfill.  Evaluation of monitoring plans, soil and groundwater quality results and remedial proposals.
• Auckland City Council - Closed Landfills Compliance Management. Digital management of closed landfill consent conditions using compliance software - CS-Vue.
• Waitakere City Council - Development of the council's first closed landfill asset management plan.
