Spill Response Services

An outdoor spill can pollute soil, groundwater, streams, wetlands, lakes and marine areas. Our early involvement can prevent the lengthy clean-up of residual contamination and on-going remediation and validation of soils and water.

We provide a rapid response to spill events and advise on containment and cleanup. Our aim is to limit the spread of contamination and minimize environmental impacts by providing appropriate professional advice early on. We liaise with the regional councils and undertake required investigations and reporting to validate clean-up

The full scope of services for the investigation, sampling, analysis and reporting of contaminated soils and water and their remediation can be provided.

We offer clients emergency call-out assessment services and are available 24 hours.

Projects undertaken include the following;

• Fonterra: Monitoring and validation of tanker spill clean-up. Liaison with regulators and validation reporting.
• McFall Fuel: Validation sampling of Diesel spill. Liaison with regulators.
• Spill Response NZ Ltd: Validation sampling of waste-oil spill clean up.
