Environmental Monitoring

Environmental monitoring may be undertaken for a number of reasons.  These include consent compliance, emergency spill responses, development projects, environmental management systems, and investigative and research purposes.

We have experience in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of stormwater, wastewater, tradewaste, groundwater, landfill leachate, fresh and saline surface water bodies and sediment and soil.

Projects undertaken include the following:

• Chelsea Sugar - Investigation, monitoring and evaluation of stormwater and trade waste quality.
• Fonterra - Soil and water monitoring relating to tanker spill cleanup.
• Auckland City Council - Owhanake Wastewater Treatment Plant. Evaluation of monitoring data for treated wastewater and receiving environment.
• Waitakere City Council - Monitoring and data evaluation of treated wastewater, drinking water and groundwater.
• Auckland City Council - Waikowhai Closed Landfill. Evaluation of leachate monitoring data.
